but before we go there let me tell you a little about myself. I was first introduced into personal development around 1997. I was looking for a business opportunity and got into network marketing. It was to my surprise how network marketing was really a personal development program in disguise.

As I started my journey I came across many authors, that I call mentors, that have influenced my life. One of the first mentors I saw was Zig Ziglar. I was then introduced to Earl Nightingale, who some say is the father of personal development, the tape was "The Greatest Secret" I must of listened to that tape over 100 times. From there the doors kept on opening up to me.

I am now working in the field I have been trying to get into for many years. I am happily involved with my high school sweet heart soon to be my wife and every time I turn around things just keep on getting better and better.

See the one thing that I have known is that none of this information is new. this information has been around for many years. I like the way Jim Rohn said it in one of his tape series. He said "None of the information I am going to tell you is new this stuff is as old as antiques." He was so right.

So what makes one person more successful then the next. Well there are many factors that come into play when One starts to bring that up but the most noticable is that one person mastered one thing at a time while the other tried to master everything at once.

A great example of this would be in the industry of computers. When computers first came about a person was able to master a lot of the little skills that it took years ago. Now a days a person can spend a life time mastering one skill because of the way the industry is set up.
